When can we move into our room on the day of arrival?
On the day of arrival you can generally move into your room from 3.00pm. We will hold your reservation until 7.00pm. Please give us a call in advance if you think you are likely to arrive after 7.00pm.

By what time do we have to leave our room on the day of departure?
Please leave your room by 11.00am. Should you want to stay longer in your hotel room, please inform our staff at the reception in advance.

Are the prices per person or per room?
The prices are per person and include visitors’ tax.

What are the opening hours of the reception?
The reception staff will be available to help you from 7.00am until around 10.00pm.

What do I have to keep in mind when checking out?
Often more than one guest wants to check out at the same time. In that case we would ask you to be patient so that we can take the time we need to complete the billing and check-out process.
If you would like to have the invoice sent to you or to share the cost with somebody else, or if you have any other special requests, we would be grateful if you would inform us about it before we start the billing process. Please also remember to return your keycard to reception.

What is the difference between the room categories?
All our rooms are equipped with a shower, WC, radio, cable TV, wireless internet, a room safe, a hairdryer and bathrobes.
The different categories of rooms refer to their different sizes or give you information about where they are located within the hotel (e.g. with or without balcony).

Does the Forellenhof Hotel offer additional beds?
In some of our rooms we have space for an additional bed or a cot. In the other rooms we have sofas which we can turn into beds for you. Unfortunately, it is not feasible to place two or more additional beds into a double room.

Is there a single room surcharge?
If a double room is occupied by only one person we will invoice a single room surcharge of €11 in summer and €16 in winter.

Is there a non-smoking area?
Guests are only allowed to smoke in the lobby.

Is there a free wireless internet access in the Hotel Forellenhof?
Access to the hotel’s high-speed internet connection is free of charge for guests. You will find the access code and username in your room. Should you not be able to find this, please contact our staff at reception. They will be happy to provide you with a new code.

Are you allowed to bring pets to the Hotel Forellenhof?
You are, of course, welcome to bring pets with you on holiday to the Forellenhof Hotel. There is, however, a surcharge of €10 per dog (not including food). Please be aware that, out of consideration for the other guests staying in the hotel, pets are not allowed in the dining room and the spa area.

Can I buy or book my ski pass, ski lessons and ski equipment in the hotel?
When arriving at the Hotel Forellenhof you can immediately purchase a ski pass for the ski area “Skiverbund Amadé” from our reception. This option means you don’t have to waste your precious holiday time queuing up in front of the cash desk at the ski resort.
At the reception you can also book ski lessons according to you and your family’s needs as well as appropriate skiing equipment.

How far away are the slopes and is there a ski bus to take me there?
The Hermann Maier World Cup Course is only a few minutes’ walk from the Hotel Forellenhof.
The ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel and will take you straight to the pistes in Flachau and back to our hotel for free.

Is the use of the hotel's spa included in the price?
Yes. You are welcome to use our spa area for free from 7.00am until 7.00pm. Sessions on the sunbed, relaxing in the scented steam room and massages are, however, subject to an additional fee.

How can I pay?
For payment we accept cash, debit cards, Eurocard or MasterCard, Visa cards or bank transfers in advance.

Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes. Your reservation is only confirmed once we have received your deposit.
Please transfer the deposit to our account after having received the booking confirmation. This deposit will be used as an administrative charge if you cancel your reservation. Cancellation costs as well as other possible costs can be covered by travel and cancellation insurance.

What happens if I cancel my reservation?
Cancelling reservations is always a shame, especially if you were looking forward to staying at our hotel.
Please be so kind as to inform us about your cancellation in writing and as early as possible – we will try to be accommodating.

Is there a shuttle service from the airport to the train station?
We are happy to pick you up with our hotel bus on request from the airport in Salzburg or from any of the train stations nearby. Please be sure to let us know in advance and tell us your time of arrival as well as your flight or train number.
We are also happy to provide the shuttle service on the day of departure to take you to the airport or train station on time.

What is the Salzburger Sportwelt Card?
As a guest of the Forellenhof Hotel you will receive the Salzburger Sportwelt Card free of charge. This card gives you access to a broad range of leisure facilities in and around Flachau for free or at a discounted price. The Salzburger Sportwelt Card is the perfect way to make use of the leisure time activities in the region and enjoy a holiday packed with sport, fun and culture!
